How To Cook Steak In The Oven With Foil
All you need to know about: How To Cook Steak In The Oven With Foil.
Preparing the Steak
Begin by preheating your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. While the oven is preheating, prepare your steak by patting it dry with a paper towel and generously seasoning both sides with salt and pepper. Place the steak on a large piece of aluminum foil.
Wrapping the Steak
Fold up the edges of the foil to create a “pocket” for the steak. Then, pour about ¼ cup of olive oil or butter over the steak. Add some herbs like rosemary or thyme, and a few cloves of garlic. Close up the foil over the steak, making sure to seal it tightly.
Cooking the Steak
Place the foil-wrapped steak on a baking sheet and place it in the preheated oven. Cook the steak for 15 minutes, then flip it over and cook for an additional 15 minutes. When the steak is done, the internal temperature should be at least 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Serving the Steak
When the steak is done cooking, remove it from the oven and open the foil. Let the steak rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing it. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
