2 ribeye steaks, about 8 oz each
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (you should be able to hold your hand 4 inches above the grates for 3-4 seconds).

2. Remove the steaks from the refrigerator about 20 minutes before cooking, to allow them to come to room temperature.

3. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and brush them with olive oil.

4. Generously season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.

5. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature of the steak is 130°F for medium-rare.

6. When the steak is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

7. Slice the steak against the grain and serve. Enjoy!
