All you need to know about: How To Cook Rump Roast.

2 lb. rump roast

1 onion, chopped

1-2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

2 tsp olive oil

1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp. dried thyme

1 tsp. dried rosemary

Salt and pepper, to taste

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Rub the roast with salt and pepper, then place it in the skillet and brown it on all sides, about 5 minutes per side.

4. Transfer the roast to a roasting pan.

5. Add the onion, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, until the onions are softened.

6. Pour the mixture over the roast.

7. Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and bake for 90 minutes, or until the roast is cooked through (an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the roast should read at least 145°F).

8. Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

9. Serve the roast with the pan juices. Enjoy!
