What You’ll Need

-3-5 pound bottom round roast
-2 tablespoons olive oil
-3 cloves of garlic, minced
-1 teaspoon ground rosemary
-1 teaspoon ground thyme
-1 teaspoon ground paprika
-1 teaspoon black pepper
-1 teaspoon sea salt
-1 onion, chopped
-2 cups beef broth


1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic, rosemary, thyme, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant.

3. Rub the spice mixture all over the bottom round roast.

4. Place the roast in a roasting pan. Add the onion and beef broth.

5. Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil, and place the pan in the preheated oven.

6. Cook for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the roast reaches 140°F.

7. Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
