How To Cook Rice Sticks

Rice sticks are one of the most popular types of noodles in Asia, and can be used in a variety of dishes. They are made from rice flour and typically come in a thin, flat format. Cooking them is easy and can be done in just a few minutes.


– 1 package of Rice Sticks
– 2 tablespoons of oil
– 2 cups of water
– 1 teaspoon of salt


1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the rice sticks and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until lightly browned.
3. Reduce the heat to low and add the water and salt.
4. Cover the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes or until the water has been absorbed.
5. Remove the cover and continue to cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
6. Remove from heat and serve.


– If you like your rice sticks more firm, reduce the cooking time.
– If you prefer softer rice sticks, add an additional 1/4 cup of water.
– For added flavor, you could also add garlic, ginger, or other seasonings to the pan.
– If you are using pre-cooked rice sticks, you can skip the first step and cook them for 3-4 minutes or until heated through.
