How To Cook Pulled Pork

Pulled pork is a classic barbecue dish that can be cooked on a smoker, in an oven, or even in a slow cooker. Here’s a simple recipe for cooking pulled pork that will produce juicy and tender meat every time.

Ingredients

– 4-5 pound pork shoulder
– 2 tablespoons of your favorite dry rub
– 2 tablespoons of vegetable or canola oil
– 1/2 cup of apple juice
– 2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 275 degrees F.

2. Rub the pork shoulder with the dry rub and lightly coat with the oil.

3. Place the pork shoulder in a deep roasting pan or baking dish and add the apple juice.

4. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 4-5 hours, or until the pork is fork-tender.

5. Remove the pork from the oven and let it cool before shredding with two forks.

6. Place the shredded pork in a large bowl and add the barbecue sauce. Mix until the pork is evenly coated.
