Instructions for Cooking Bone In Ribeye

Ingredients

– 2 bone-in ribeye steaks, 1-inch thick
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 teaspoons garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the steaks on a baking sheet and rub both sides with olive oil.

3. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, thyme and rosemary over both sides of the steaks.

4. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the steak reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

5. Remove the steaks from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Tips

– If you prefer a medium-rare steak, bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 130 to 135 degrees Fahrenheit.

– If you prefer a medium steak, bake for 22 to 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 140 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

– You can also cook the steaks on the stovetop in a cast-iron skillet or grill them on the barbecue.

– If cooking on the stovetop, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes per side.

– If grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high heat and cook the steaks for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
