How To Cook A Ribeye On The Grill

All you need to know about: How To Cook A Ribeye On The Grill.

Prepare the Ribeye

Start by preparing the ribeye steak. Take it out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature before cooking. Pat the steak dry with a paper towel and season it generously with salt and pepper.

Light the Grill

Light the grill and set it to medium-high heat. Wait for the coals to turn gray and ash over before placing the steak on the grill.

Cook the Ribeye

Place the steak on the grill and let it cook for 4-5 minutes until it develops a nice brown crust. Flip the steak and cook the other side for another 4-5 minutes.

Check for Doneness

Check the steak for doneness with a meat thermometer. A steak cooked to medium-rare will have an internal temperature of 130°F. Remove the steak from the grill when it has reached the desired temperature.

Rest the Steak

Transfer the steak to a plate and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the steak and make it even more tender and flavorful.
