Ingredients
– 1 Butternut Squash
– 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
– Salt and Pepper
– Optional: Herbs and/or Spices
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Cut butternut squash in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and strings.
3. Place the butternut squash halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
4. Drizzle the cut sides of the squash with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
5. Optional: Sprinkle desired herbs and/or spices (such as thyme, rosemary, sage, paprika, etc.) on top.
6. Bake in preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, until the squash is tender and lightly browned.
7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
