Ingredients
– 4 sablefish fillets
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
2. Pat the sablefish dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
3. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Place the sablefish in the skillet and cook for 2 minutes per side or until golden brown.
5. Reduce the heat to low and add the butter and minced garlic.
6. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until the butter is melted.
7. Add the lemon juice and stir to combine.
8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes or until the sablefish is cooked through.
