Ingredients

– 2 beef rib steaks
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 tablespoons butter
– Salt and freshly ground pepper
– 1 teaspoon rosemary
– 1 teaspoon thyme
– 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. Pat dry the steaks with paper towel and season generously with salt and freshly ground pepper.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and butter. Once the butter has melted, add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the steaks are golden brown.

4. Add the rosemary, thyme and garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute.

5. Transfer the steaks to a baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until desired doneness is reached.

6. Transfer the steaks to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

7. Serve with your favorite side dish and enjoy!
