How To Cook Top Round Roast

Ingredients

• 2-3 pound top round roast
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, oregano, etc.)
• 1/2 cup red wine
• 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the top round roast on a cutting board and pat it dry with a paper towel.

3. Rub the roast with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

4. Place the herbs on top of the roast.

5. Place the roast in a roasting pan and pour the red wine and beef broth over it.

6. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for 2-3 hours or until the internal temperature of the roast reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
