Ingredients
– 2 to 3 pound beef roast (such as chuck roast or brisket)
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
2. Pat roast dry with paper towels and season with the garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Rub the olive oil and Worcestershire sauce over the roast.
3. Place roast in a roasting pan and cover with a tight fitting lid or aluminum foil.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until the internal temperature of the roast is between 130°F and 135°F.
5. Remove roast from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
6. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
