– 1 tri-tip roast, about 2 to 3 pounds
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– Salt and pepper
– 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, minced


1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Rub the roast with the olive oil, then season generously with salt and pepper.

3. Place the roast in a roasting pan, fat side up.

4. In a small bowl, combine the garlic and rosemary, then sprinkle evenly over the roast.

5. Roast in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour, or until a meat thermometer inserted in the center of the roast registers 130 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare or 140 degrees Fahrenheit for medium.

6. Allow the roast to rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
