• 4-5 pound cross rib roast
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons garlic powder
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano


1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Rub the roast with olive oil and the seasonings.

3. Place the roast in a roasting pan and cook for 1 hour.

4. Reduce the heat to 325°F and cook for another hour.

5. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the roast to check the temperature. The roast is done when the temperature is 155-160°F.
