Ingredients
1 whole duck, 4-5 lbs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup honey, melted
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Rinse the duck and pat dry with paper towels.
3. Place the duck in a roasting pan and rub the melted butter over the skin of the duck.
4. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
5. Rub the honey mixture over the duck, making sure to coat the entire bird.
6. Place the roasting pan in the preheated oven and cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the internal temperature of the duck reaches 165°F (74°C).
7. Remove the duck from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
Serving
