Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the raw ham in a roasting pan, fat side up.

3. Score the ham by making shallow cuts in a diamond pattern, about 1/4-inch deep.

4. Rub the ham with a mixture of 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of ground cloves, 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of ground ginger.

5. Place the ham in the oven and bake for 1 1/2 hours.

6. Remove the ham from the oven and brush it with 1/2 cup of honey.

7. Return the ham to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes.

8. Remove the ham from the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.

Tips

• You can glaze the ham with a mixture of 1/2 cup of orange marmalade, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, and 2 tablespoons of orange juice.

• You can also add a few cloves of garlic to the glaze for added flavor.

• If the ham starts to dry out during cooking, baste it with its own juices.

• If the ham is too salty for your taste, soak it in cold water for several hours before cooking.
