Ingredients

– Boneless or bone-in ham (4-7 pounds)
– Water
– Brown sugar
– Dijon mustard
– Honey
– Freshly ground black pepper
– Fresh rosemary sprigs
– Whole cloves
– Onion

Instructions

1. Place the ham in a 6-quart or larger slow cooker. If the ham is a bone-in ham, place it bone side down.

2. Pour 1 cup of water into the slow cooker and cover. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, until the ham is cooked through.

3. Remove the ham from the slow cooker and set aside.

4. In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper.

5. Place the ham back in the slow cooker and spread the brown sugar mixture over the top of the ham.

6. Place a few sprigs of fresh rosemary and a few whole cloves around the top of the ham.

7. Peel and cut an onion into wedges and place around the top of the ham.

8. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for an additional 2 to 3 hours, until the ham is cooked through and the glaze is thick and bubbly.

9. Remove the ham from the slow cooker and serve warm with the glaze. Enjoy!
