How To Cook Frozen Hamburger Patties

Frozen hamburger patties can be a convenient way to make a delicious, juicy burger in a hurry. Whether you are grilling on a BBQ, using a skillet on the stove, or baking in the oven, following these steps will help you cook a delicious juicy hamburger patty from frozen.

Step 1: Preheat Cooking Appliance

Before you get started cooking your frozen hamburger patty, make sure to preheat the cooking appliance you will be using. The ideal temperature for cooking hamburger patties is 375℉, which is hot enough to cook the patty through without drying it out.

Step 2: Place Frozen Patties On Appliance

Once the cooking appliance is preheated, carefully place the frozen hamburger patties onto the appliance. If using a stove-top skillet, be sure to use enough oil or butter to keep the patties from sticking.

Step 3: Cook Patties

For stove-top skillet cooking, cook the patties for 8-10 minutes per side. For grilling on a BBQ, cook the patties for 8-10 minutes per side, or until an internal temperature of 165℉ is reached. For baking in the oven, cook the patties for 20-25 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 165℉ is reached.

Step 4: Flip Patties

Once the hamburger patties have been cooking for the recommended amount of time, flip them over to cook the other side. Be sure to check the internal temperature of the patty with a thermometer to ensure it is cooked through.

Step 5: Serve Hot

Once the hamburger patties have reached an internal temperature of 165℉, they are ready to be served. Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
