Ingredients

– 4-5 lb corned beef brisket
– 1 onion, peeled and quartered
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 4-5 carrots, peeled and cut into large chunks
– 2 stalks of celery, cut into large chunks
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
– 2 cups beef broth
– 2 bay leaves
– 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
– 2 teaspoons of salt

Instructions

1. Place the corned beef brisket in the slow cooker.
2. Add the vegetables, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, bay leaves, peppercorns and salt.
3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours, or until the meat is tender.
4. Once cooked, remove the corned beef from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
5. Serve with your favorite side dishes and enjoy.
