How To Cook Wagyu

Wagyu beef is known for its buttery flavor and tender texture, making it a favorite among chefs and home cooks alike. Cooking Wagyu beef requires a few steps to ensure it’s cooked to perfection, but the end result is worth the effort.


-1 pound of Wagyu beef
-2 tablespoons of olive oil
-Salt and pepper
-Herbs and spices of your choice


1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Pat the beef dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper, as well as any herbs and spices.

3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Place the beef in the skillet and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes per side.

5. Transfer the beef to a baking dish.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the steak.

7. Remove the beef from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
