Ingredients
• 4 veal chops
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 lemon, halved
• 1/2 cup white wine
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Season veal chops on both sides with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Add veal chops to the skillet and sear until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
5. Add garlic, thyme, and parsley to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.
6. Add butter and lemon halves to the skillet.
7. Place skillet in the preheated oven and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the veal chops reaches 145°F (63°C).
8. Remove skillet from the oven and transfer veal chops to a plate.
9. Add white wine to the skillet and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced by half.
10. Spoon sauce over the veal chops and serve.
