– 1 package of silken tofu
– 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
– Salt and pepper (optional)


1. Open the package of silken tofu and drain the water from it.
2. Place the drained tofu in a bowl and use a fork to lightly mash it until it is broken down into small pieces.
3. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Add the mashed silken tofu to the skillet and stir it for about one minute.
5. Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet with a lid.
6. Cook the tofu for about five minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Add salt and pepper to the skillet, if desired.
8. Remove the lid and cook the tofu for an additional three minutes, stirring occasionally.
9. Once the tofu is cooked through, remove it from the heat and serve.


– Silken tofu can also be used in stir-fries, salads, and soups.
– If you are looking to add some extra flavor, consider adding some garlic, ginger, or other seasonings to the skillet when cooking the tofu.
– Silken tofu can also be eaten cold, so if you are looking for a no-cook option, simply mash the tofu and season it with salt and pepper.
