– 2 pounds of beef tenderloin
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons of fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
– 2 tablespoons of fresh thyme leaves, chopped
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper


1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Pat the beef tenderloin dry with a paper towel. Rub it with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper.
3. Place the beef tenderloin in an oven-proof dish and roast it in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
4. Reduce the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) and continue to roast for another 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
5. Remove the dish from the oven and let the beef tenderloin rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
