How To Cook Stripped Bass

-1-2 lbs of striped bass fillets
-3 tablespoons of olive oil
-Salt and pepper to taste
-2 cloves of garlic, minced
-1 lemon, sliced
-1 teaspoon of dried oregano
-1 teaspoon of dried thyme
-1 teaspoon of dried basil
-1/2 cup of white wine
-1/4 cup of butter


1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the striped bass fillets in a shallow baking dish. Drizzle the olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and pepper.

3. Sprinkle the garlic, oregano, thyme, and basil over the fillets. Top with the lemon slices.

4. Pour the white wine over the fillets and dot with pieces of butter.

5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets.

6. Remove the aluminum foil and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
