Ingredients

• 12 large sea scallops
• 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
• Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Once the oil is hot, add the scallops and garlic.

3. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

4. Cook the scallops for 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and cooked through.

5. Remove the scallops from the pan and set aside on a plate.

6. To the same pan, add the lemon juice and parsley.

7. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the lemon juice is reduced and slightly thickened.

8. Pour the sauce over the scallops and serve immediately. Enjoy!
