1 Cedar Plank
1 lb. of Salmon
2 tablespoons Olive oil
2 tablespoons of Honey
Salt and Pepper


1. Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour before cooking. This will prevent the plank from catching fire.

2. Preheat your grill to medium heat.

3. Rub both sides of the Salmon with olive oil, honey, and season with salt and pepper.

4. Place the cedar plank on the grill and heat for 1 to 2 minutes.

5. Place the Salmon on the plank and close the lid of the grill.

6. Cook for approximately 15 minutes, or until the Salmon is cooked through.

7. Remove the Salmon from the plank and serve.


• For added flavor, add fresh herbs or spices to the Salmon before grilling.

• Be careful not to overcook the Salmon, as it can become dry and tough.

• For best results, use a thermometer to check the internal temperature of the Salmon to ensure it is cooked through. The ideal temperature is 145°F.
