Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, 4-6 ounces each

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. Add salmon to the skillet and cook, flipping once, until the fish is cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Remove salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Melt butter in the skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, and cook, stirring occasionally, until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
  7. Return salmon to the skillet and gently toss to combine.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.
