– 2 ribeye steaks
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– Salt
– Ground pepper

Instructions

1. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until it’s hot.
2. Drizzle the olive oil into the hot skillet.
3. Place the ribeye steaks in the hot skillet.
4. Sprinkle generously with salt and ground pepper.
5. Cook the ribeye steaks for 4 minutes, flipping halfway through.
6. Reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook for 4-5 minutes more, flipping halfway through.
7. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the steaks. For medium-rare, the internal temperature should read 130-135°F.
8. Remove the steaks from the skillet and allow them to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
