• 1 Prime Rib Roast (5-7 lbs)
• 2 tsp garlic powder
• 2 tsp onion powder
• 1 tsp sea salt
• 2 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp paprika
• 2 Tbsp olive oil


1. Remove the prime rib roast from the packaging and pat it dry with paper towels.

2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.

3. Rub the entire surface of the prime rib roast with the olive oil, then rub the spice mixture onto the prime rib.

4. Preheat your grill to high heat. Once hot, lower the heat to medium-high.

5. Place the prime rib roast on the grill and close the lid. Grill for 20 minutes, flipping the roast every 5-7 minutes.

6. After 20 minutes, reduce the heat to low and close the lid. Grill for an additional 20-30 minutes, flipping every 5-7 minutes, until the internal temperature registers 120-125F (medium-rare).

7. Remove the prime rib from the grill and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
