Ingredients

1 Pig’s Feet
1 Onion
1 Carrot
1 Celery Stalk
2 Cloves Garlic
2 Bay Leaves
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Water

Instructions

1. Start by washing the pig’s feet with cold water.

2. Peel the onion and cut into quarters. Peel and chop the carrot in small pieces. Chop the celery stalk into small pieces. Peel and mince the garlic.

3. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion, carrot, celery and garlic and sauté for about 5 minutes.

4. Add the pig’s feet and bay leaves to the pot and sauté for an additional 5 minutes.

5. Add enough water to cover the pig’s feet and bring to a boil.

6. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until the pig’s feet are tender.

7. Once the pig’s feet are tender, add the salt and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.

8. Serve the pig’s feet with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
