How To Cook Perfect Salmon

Salmon is one of the most popular fish dishes and one of the best sources of Omega 3 fatty acids. It’s easy to cook, healthy and delicious. Here’s how to cook perfect salmon every time.


– 2 Salmon Fillets
– 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
– Salt and Pepper
– 1 Teaspoon of Dried Thyme
– 1 Teaspoon of Dried Oregano
– 1 Lemon


1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the salmon fillets on a lightly oiled baking sheet.

3. Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, thyme and oregano.

4. Slice the lemon and place the slices on top of the salmon.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

6. Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for 5 minutes before serving.


– If you don’t have dried herbs, you can use fresh herbs instead.
– Add a bit of butter to the baking sheet to prevent sticking.
– Baste the salmon with the pan juices halfway through cooking.
– For a more intense flavor, marinate the salmon in lemon juice and herbs for at least an hour before cooking.
– Serve the salmon with steamed vegetables and a lemon wedge for a healthy, delicious meal.
