Ingredients:
1 cup pearled barley
2 cups water or vegetable/chicken broth
Instructions:
1. Rinse the barley in a fine mesh strainer.
2. In a medium saucepan, bring the water or broth to a boil.
3. Add the rinsed barley to the boiling liquid and reduce the heat to a simmer.
4. Cook for approximately 25 minutes, or until the barley is tender and all of the liquid has been absorbed.
5. Once the barley is cooked, fluff with a fork and serve.
