– 24 fresh oysters in the shell
– 2 tablespoons of butter
– 2 tablespoons of white wine
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme
– 1 teaspoon of fresh parsley, finely chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste


1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the oysters in a large baking dish and top each oyster with a half teaspoon of butter.

3. In a small bowl, mix together the white wine, garlic, thyme, parsley, salt and pepper.

4. Pour the mixture over the oysters.

5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the oysters are lightly golden and the edges are curled up slightly.

6. Serve the oysters hot with lemon wedges, if desired. Enjoy!
