• 1 lb fresh oyster mushrooms
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


1. Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel. You don’t need to rinse them, as they are delicate and will break apart if you do.
3. Cut the mushrooms into thick slices, about 1/2-inch thick.
4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
6. Cook the mushrooms until they are golden brown and starting to soften, about 5-7 minutes.
7. Add the garlic and cook for one minute more, stirring constantly.
8. Transfer the mushrooms to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
9. Sprinkle the mushrooms with chopped parsley and serve.


• Be sure to use fresh mushrooms, as they will give you the best flavor and texture.
