Ingredients
-2 tablespoons of butter
-1 teaspoon of minced garlic
-½ teaspoon of dried thyme
-2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
-1 cup of vegetable or chicken broth
-1 pound of mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
-Salt and Pepper, to taste
-A handful of fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the garlic and thyme and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add the flour and stir for 1 minute.
4. Slowly pour in the broth and stir with a whisk until combined and creamy.
5. Add the mushrooms and season with salt and pepper.
6. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender.
7. Turn off the heat and stir in the fresh parsley.
Serving
