– 2 pounds of ground beef, pork, or turkey
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 2 eggs
– 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon dried basil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 jar of your favorite marinara sauce, about 24 ounces


1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, garlic, eggs, Parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Mix together until all ingredients are incorporated.

2. Use your hands to form the mixture into small meatballs. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.

3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs to the skillet and brown on all sides, about 10 minutes.

4. Transfer the browned meatballs to a slow cooker. Pour the marinara sauce over the top and stir to combine.

5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or until the meatballs are cooked through.

6. Serve the meatballs with your favorite pasta and enjoy!
