Step 1: Preparing the Noodles

Lo Mein noodles are a type of Chinese egg noodle that are often used in stir-fry dishes. To prepare them, start by bringing a large pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, add the noodles and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or according to the package instructions. Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.

Step 2: Preparing the Veggies and Sauce

While the noodles are cooking, you can prep your veggies. Chop up any vegetables you want to add to your Lo Mein, such as carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, or snow peas. You can also add any proteins you want, such as chicken, beef, pork, or shrimp.

Next, make the sauce by combining soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl and whisking to combine.

Step 3: Stir-Frying

Once everything is prepped, heat a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add a couple of tablespoons of oil to the pan and swirl to coat. Add the vegetables and protein, if using, and stir-fry for about 5 minutes, until the veggies are tender-crisp.

Add the noodles and the sauce to the pan and toss everything together to combine. Continue to cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the noodles are heated through and the sauce has thickened. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
