Instructions

1. Begin by washing the leek thoroughly. Make sure to cut off the root end and discard any damaged or wilted outer leaves. Slice the leek into thin slices.

2. Heat a skillet on medium heat and add butter and olive oil. Once the butter has melted add the leek slices and cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. When the leek slices are softened and lightly browned, season with salt and pepper. Serve the cooked leeks hot. Enjoy!
