• 2 to 3 pounds of beef short ribs
• 3 tablespoons of sesame oil
• ½ cup of soy sauce
• 3 tablespoons of honey
• 2 tablespoons of minced garlic
• 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger
• 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
• 2 tablespoons of rice wine
• 2 tablespoons of scallions, thinly sliced
• 2 tablespoons of mirin
• 2 tablespoons of black pepper


1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. Place the beef short ribs into a large bowl.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, rice wine, scallions, mirin, and black pepper.
4. Pour the marinade over the beef short ribs and mix until the ribs are evenly coated.
5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 1 hour.
6. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
7. Place the marinated beef short ribs on the baking sheet and spread them out evenly.
8. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes.
9. Turn the oven up to 375°F and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until the ribs are cooked through and lightly browned on the outside.
10. Serve the Korean short ribs with steamed rice or noodles. Enjoy!
