Ingredients

– 1-2 lbs of goat meat
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons of oil
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 cups of mushrooms, sliced
– 1/2 cup of white wine
– 2 tablespoons of fresh herbs, such as rosemary and thyme
– 2 cups of broth

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

2. Season the goat meat with salt and pepper.

3. Heat the oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the goat meat and cook until it is browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

4. Add the onion, garlic, and mushrooms to the pan and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

5. Add the white wine and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

6. Add the herbs and broth and bring to a simmer.

7. Cover the skillet with a lid or foil and transfer to the oven. Bake for 1 hour, or until the goat meat is fork-tender.

8. Serve the goat meat with the sauce and vegetables. Enjoy!
