• 1 lb chicken gizzards
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 onion, diced
• 1 cup chicken broth
• Salt and pepper to taste


1. Rinse the gizzards in cold water and pat dry.

2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Add the gizzards to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 8 minutes.

4. Add the garlic and onion and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.

5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.

6. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, until the gizzards are cooked through and tender, about 30 minutes.

7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve.
