– 1lb of frozen scallops
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 2 tablespoons of butter
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped


1. Take the frozen scallops out of the packaging and place them on a plate lined with paper towel to thaw for about 20-30 minutes.

2. Heat a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat.

3. Once the skillet is hot, add the olive oil and butter.

4. Add the scallops to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.

5. Cook the scallops for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are cooked through and golden brown.

6. Add minced garlic and chopped parsley to the skillet and stir to combine.

7. Cook for another minute, until the garlic is fragrant.
