How To Cook Dove

– 4 doves
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
– 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar


1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.

2. Rinse the doves in cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

3. Rub the doves with the olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.

4. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

5. Add the doves to the pan and cook for about 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the doves are cooked through.

7. Remove the doves from the oven and transfer to a plate.

8. In the same skillet, add the thyme, rosemary, and balsamic vinegar. Simmer until the liquid is reduced by half, about 3 minutes.
