2 deer tenderloin steaks
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of fresh thyme leaves


1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Brush each side of the tenderloin steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and garlic. Cook until butter is melted and garlic is fragrant.

4. Add the tenderloin steaks to the hot skillet and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for about 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the steaks reaches 145°F (63°C).

6. Remove from oven and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

7. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves and serve. Enjoy!
