1 large bunch of dandelion greens
3 tablespoons of olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt to taste


1. Rinse the dandelion greens thoroughly in a colander under cold running water.

2. Trim the stems off the bottom of the greens, and discard the stems.

3. Roughly chop the greens and place them in a large bowl.

4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

5. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly, until the garlic is fragrant.

6. Add the dandelion greens to the skillet and season with black pepper and red pepper flakes (if using).

7. Cook the greens, stirring occasionally, until they are wilted and tender, about 5 minutes.

8. Add salt to taste.

9. Serve the cooked dandelion greens warm. Enjoy!
