Ingredients:

– 4 slices of bacon
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 bunches of washed and chopped collard greens
– 2 tablespoons of butter
– 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
– 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 8 minutes. Transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain, reserving the bacon fat in the skillet.

2. Add the garlic to the bacon fat and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3. Add the collard greens, butter, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and onion powder to the skillet and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the greens are wilted and tender, about 10 minutes.

4. Crumble the bacon and add to the skillet. Stir to combine.

5. Serve the greens warm with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
