Ingredients

– 4 cod fillets
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon of paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
– 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
– 2 tablespoons of butter
– 2 cloves of minced garlic
– 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. Grease a baking sheet with some olive oil.

3. Place the cod fillets on the baking sheet and season with garlic powder, oregano, paprika, sea salt and black pepper.

4. Drizzle some olive oil over the cod fillets.

5. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.

6. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.

7. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring often.

8. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir to combine.

9. When the cod fillets are done baking, remove from the oven and spoon the butter and lemon mixture over top.

10. Serve the cod fillets with your favorite sides and enjoy!
