Ingredients:

– 1 bunch of swiss chard
– 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
– 1/3 cup of finely chopped onion
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Rinse the chard and pat it dry with a paper towel. Cut off the tough ends of the stems and discard them. Slice the stems and leaves into 1-inch strips and set aside.

2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and garlic, and cook, stirring often, until the onions are translucent and softened, about 4 to 5 minutes.

3. Add the chard to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring often, until the greens are wilted and tender, about 5 minutes.

4. Serve the chard warm. Enjoy!
