How To Cook Lamb Steaks

All you need to know about: How To Cook Lamb Steaks.

Preparing the Lamb Steaks

Begin by selecting high-quality lamb steaks that are at least one inch thick. If you can find grass-fed, organic lamb steaks, these are the best choice. Next, pat the steaks dry and season with salt and pepper. You can also add other herbs and spices, such as thyme or rosemary, to the steaks if desired.

Cooking the Lamb Steaks

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add enough oil to lightly coat the bottom of the skillet and heat until the oil is shimmering. Carefully add the lamb steaks to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the steaks are golden brown and cooked through. If desired, you can also finish the steaks in the oven at 350°F for an additional 5-10 minutes.

Serving the Lamb Steaks

Once the steaks are cooked, transfer them to a plate and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Serve the steaks with sides such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a salad. For a delicious sauce, try combining a tablespoon of butter, a tablespoon of lemon juice, and a teaspoon of chopped fresh herbs, such as thyme or rosemary. Enjoy!
